Coincidentally Written

Once or a just a few times in your life, you find that person. With whom everything clicks, fits and matches. You laugh about the same jokes, you think exactly the same, you both love to be lazy, you put on the same shoe first, you continually challenge each other mentally and physically, you adore the same fruit that nobody knows the name of, you both think Bruno Mars looks kind of odd. Well... you get it. Everything is perfect. You can hear that -click- in your mind every time it happens. Then you know... This is it. This is that person I want to spend my life with. You know what you want, you have never been so sure about anything in your life.

Is this it? You wonder, you wonder, you wonder. Nahh, can't be true. There is no such thing as faith and destiny. You just don't want to believe it. It's a coincidence. You take on the challenge, coincidence or no coincidence. We all like lust, love and drama don't we? You just roll with each other; you roll like a G6, you roll like a 18 wheeler. On and on and on...

Stop. You hit a wall. You stop rolling. That confidence and certainty you had? It just got knocked out by the wall and it made room for distractions. You knew what you wanted, but you got distracted. Other lust, other love, other drama. As good as? Who knows, probably not... but why not try? We're young and pretty. We can afford ourselves to play. Should we lose the other? No... We keep one string attached, so we can go back anytime. And even if you can't, like I said you meet that special person a few times in your life, so let's take the gamble. Take a leap of faith, or better said: a leap of gamble.

Why do we do that? Risk everything for the game. Take a break from heaven and utopia to play in hell and dystopia? Coincidence? I think not. This is how we roll, the young and the pretty.
