It's a new year, a fresh start.

Fresh Breath of Air

Been in Shanghai for a couple of days now...! Had to settle a lot of matters before blogging! Got a few things settled already. Still need to sign up for summer school tho. And STILL need to finish up my assignment... Yesyes, will finish that one by the end of the week. Yaksok.

How long will I be in Asia for? Firstly I'll stay in Shanghai till the end of the month. In August I'll probably visit my granny in Shandong and then proceed to Hong Kong to do some serious shopping...! The adventure will then come to an end on the 24th of August.

So how has Shanghai treated me so far? It's H&H!! (Hot and Humid!!) My trip went so swiftly, aside from the fact I had to entertain myself for three hours at Frankfurt Airport. No delays, and no luggage lost. Once I arrived at Pudong Airport my lovely sister was (kinda =p) waiting for me at the terminal to pick me up. Really glad to see someone close after traveling alone for 17 hours straight... Love you jiejie!

Didn't meet up with babies Xiao and Charmaine till the next day. (I suffered from a mini jet-lag)

So when we met, everything was as it used to be. As it's supposed to be. I'm not a religious woman, but thank god for my friends. How would I ever survive without them..?

Anyway, I digress. We went eating at Bi Feng Tang and made plans for the coming week. Since X and C are leaving next Thursday, we kinda stuffed the whole week. After that I'll start my chinese summer course. (yesyes. once a geek always a geek, even studying in my holidays -0_0-)

Anyway a summary of what awaits us:

- visit to Carrefour (which already has been fulfilled)

- SPA-day

- visiting the Bund at both day and night

- shopping

- clubbing (miss dancing SO MUCH! T_T)

- Ice Age 3 at the cinemas (freaking 100 yuan, which is more than 10 euros!)

- more shopping

- a visit to the hairdresser (bob or pony? Help me out....?!)

- more clubbing

- culture? not so much!! haha, will do that when I'm on my own again. need to have some other kind of fun first, if you know what i mean!

Also met up with Lili and Ric today. Was good to see Lili again. Went lunching at some japanese restaurant (really need to know the name) with them and some of her friends. Decided we'll go clubbing this Saturday, since one of her guy friends was an 'expert' and knows all the good clubs. So what's the name of the club we'll be going to? "Bling"!!! Haha...

Anyway, I'm so glad to be somewhere else than home. Lately it didn't feel like home anymore, so I really needed this break. Leaving everything behind and letting things rest. I'm taking a fresh breath of air...

Got to be strong, time will heal... It's for the better, even when it doesn't seem like it now. Things happen for a reason, once they did you learn from it. And so i will too.
